Fighting with this character: She has a grub thing from the Old Ones and it can control her so should she need to, she will lash out. She isn't particularly strong but when she has her shit together, she can handle herself from space academy type self-defense classes

Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Again, there is an emissary thing attached to her brainstem so that's going to interfere a lot to keep itself hidden and the mission from the Old Ones hidden. There's a lot of pain and horror in her head so please, please, please get hold of me first to talk about it
Warnings: Valdís has had some horrible things happen to her. She has seen the faces of the Old Ones (think Cthulhu/Lovecraftian style shit mixed with some Dead Space things and then add a shitload of body horror on top) and has created monsters through spreading the influence of the Old Ones. She very vividly remembers having an emissary (which is essentially a tentacle of one of the highest Old Ones) placed in her heart (via being cut open without anaesthia or anything) and another in her brain (that entered via worming behind her eye). The emissaries look quite like tentacle-grub things: they both came from tentacles cut off by one of the Old Ones.
